Petsitting and housesitting is a thing—here's how to save money on travel accommodations
Let's make some extra moolah on the side—here's our weekly newsletter jam packed with resources for you to side hustle.
🏠 Creative Ways to Save While Traveling
Travel preferences on where to stay are widely subjective, but we can all agree on one thing: accommodation costs eat your budget.
Some of the interesting ways we’ve seen AWWs save in our community include house swapping with one another so they can escape for a bit, partake in house and pet sitting, negotiating with Airbnb owners via DM, and some who have a following (1k+) reach out to brand partners and coliving spaces for content partnerships and discounts.
TrustedHousesitters is annual membership based; they allow pet sitters to explore, apply for, and confirm exciting sits with adorable pets in locations around the world (Vancouver, Melbourne, London, New York and more).

Our media launch party in Singapore was a success, yes
Kudos to Joanna, Bev, Constance, Emily, Jane, Hai, Jennifer, and JingYan for pulling this successful event together 🎉 We partnered with Draper Startup House and Singapore Global Network last Saturday—we hosted a panel on designing your ideal wander life: how to travel and make money. At the event, we held a speaker panel, an open mic for entrepreneurs, bingo and trivia games.
Some key takeaways included:
For those who want to get started on a side hustle or business idea, you can start small. What do people go to you for questions on? What niche can you specialize in and act as a resource for? From there, you can create content media to promote your services or knowledge.
Building wealth takes time, but also strategy. Most entrepreneurs are finding ways to think strategically by limiting the amount of time put into reactive upkeep, and delegating to focus on more passive streams or batching for bigger projects.
People don’t believe they can be entrepreneurs, but there are multiple kinds. If you’re someone who is already tapping into a creative mindset, trying to change a current process, or build something of your own, you already hold entrepreneur qualities.
AWW is now incorporated in Singapore and in the US as business entities. A media project is slated to launch next month—stay tuned!
